WHAT PEOPLE SAY
ELEANOR ROBERTS, ATTORNEY
When I met Dr. Bolus during my time at Yale Law School, I was struck by his vision and his tireless work to create empowering educational spaces for his peers. This book provides insights about the brutal realities people inside prisons face, and his pathway through it all. I am in awe of the leadership he has shown against all odds
DEVIN RACE, ATTORNEY
Dr. Bolus brings a unique and valuable perspective to this field. Few people have combined firsthand experience of incarceration with professional clinical training and academic study as Dr. Bolus has. This book is essential for understanding the psychology and sociology of incarceration. Dr. Bolus meets this challenging subject with compassion and honesty rather than political agenda
